Winterboard is a powerful tool that let's you customize your iphone to your own likings so it's not so boring just like everyone else's iPhone. Ready to give your iPhone some personality?

Get Started:

Tap the WinterBoard icon on the Springboard.

 Apply Selected Theme(s)

WinterBoard comes with a few built in themes.  One is Saurik’s own to show off changing backgrounds and other elements that WinterBoard is capable of. Simply select a the theme by tapping on it which will check mark the theme. Once the theme is selected just press the home button to return to your springboard. The phone will then reboot and you will see your new theme!

 Download Custom Themes From Cydia

Now it;s time to show you how to download your own themes. CYDIA has over 600 themes for you to choose from. Yes there's a theme for everyone.. Let's try to download a custom theme from Cydia. I noticed an NBA theme, so being a basketball fan I'll use that for this example.

• Open Cydia
• Tap Sections at the bottom of the screen
• Scroll down to Themes(Springboard) folder. Select it.
• Next you will see a list of themes to download. Scroll down until you see NBA theme.
• Select it and hit install at the upper right corner. This will download your theme.
• Once download is complete, exit CYDIA.
• Open up Winterboard. Check NBA-Theme
• Exit WinterBoard

 Applying Multiple Themes

I mentioned earlier you could apply multiple themes to combine elements. Let,s try adding Saurik's theme to the NBA-Theme. We should get Saurik's Background and Dock and NBA-Theme's Icons.

• Open WinterBoard
• Leave NBA-Theme Checked
• Check Saurik
• Press Home to return to the Springboard

 

Remove All Themes

If you want to return the phone to a stock look, simply open WinterBoard and uncheck all themes.

One more thing, Winterboard not only changes your background or icons. It could also change your keyboard, dial pad, logo and more. Just go to CYDIA and check out all the other Sound, Video, Dialpad Themes and more!!!
